There's a little bit of a story behind this. In May of 2008, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, where Garett and I both work, opened a new lemur exhibit. The marketing department produced cardboard signs depicting a lemur to promote the exhibit. Garett expressed his desire for one of these signs, and being the fixator that I am, I set out to acquire one for him. I failed, so I drew him this picture of cardboard Garett with a cardboard lemur instead. It still bothers me that I was never able to get a real one. I am also sorry, Garett, that it doesn't feature any goats.
